PGAV was hired to help the City of Lenexa redefine its City Center project and combine a range of city operations, civic facilities, retail, and commercial properties in an integrated mixed-use development. Strategically located near Interstate 435, City Center establishes a new destination and supports a spectrum of cultural, recreational, educational and community services.

The cornerstone of the Lenexa Civic Center is the City Hall to house the Lenexa City Council Chambers and staff from Community Development, HR, Finance, Legal, Communications, and Executive departments. PGAV planned the organization of the building to carefully balance the needs of a community friendly, service oriented seat of government with the security requirements of a civic structure.
