Edmon Low Library

Oklahoma State University
Stillwater, Oklahoma

With the completion of the Library Auxiliary project in the summer of 2014, Oklahoma State University seized the opportunity to re-evaluate and redefine the role of the Edmon Low Library in the academic life of the University. PGAV was engaged to identify assets and limitations of the existing six-story facility and to explore opportunities to leverage the space created when 1.5M +/- volumes moved to the Library Auxiliary.

The resulting space utilization study created a road map for implementing renovations that will maximize the building’s potential. The new space plan calls for group study spaces, access to modern technology, and active learning spaces where collaboration and team exercises can occur.
