Sykes/Lady Clubhouse

Overland Park, Kansas

The new Overland Park Sykes/Lady Clubhouse in southern Overland Park features a full-service restaurant and bar, pro shop, conference facilities and indoor hitting bays. The stacked limestone structure echos the local terrain and overlooks the landscaped par-3 golf course. Recessed into a hillside, the lower level containing the hitting bays and cart storage, blends into the landscape.

Dining at the Club 27 restaurant capitalizes on the sweeping views of the greens through the full height glass movable walls. Industrial influences include concrete floors, metal light fixtures, open-to-structure ceilings and reclaimed wood accents. A terraced patio wraps around the building for evening and weekend relaxation. Financed by Overland Park’s Enterprise fund, the public clubhouse doesn’t receive any tax-payer funds and is already revenue positive averaging over $5,200 of revenue a day.
