PGAV collaborated with Johnson County Community College campus leaders to transform space within Billington Library into a one-stop academic resource center collocated alongside the resources of the campus academic library.  A key goal for the integrated academic resource center is to support a seamless student experience which includes a central check-in point to facilitate the delivery of services to those with cross-disciplinary needs in the subjects of science, math, language, writing, and academic achievement. Each support center has a distinct “home base” within a holistic environment which includes infused technology and areas for individual and group study. A new circulation desk, computer lab, open study area, group study rooms, and an exhibit gallery were developed on the library’s second floor with library offices expanded on the third floor.
