Commerce Bank engaged PGAV to transform its busy Country Club Plaza Branch to create a more welcoming and contemporary banking experience. Customer functions and client service areas on the main floor now occur in an open environment with direct views of the Plaza. A dramatic staircase with glass treads and handrails was added to connect the main and second floors to provide clients with direct access to private banking services. On the second floor, the design of private offices, conference rooms, and lounge seating are warm and inviting. The more open, daylit environment on both floors was made possible by the introduction of large windows along the building’s south and west façades.
