Tebo Library

PGAV collaborated with Fort Hays State campus and library leadership, staff, and stakeholders to develop a transformative plan for reimagining Tebo Library. The project strategically integrated university partners including the Institute for New Media Studies, the Science and Mathematics Institute Maker Space, the Writing Center, the Honors College, and Student Organizations. Library staff are now collocated to increase synergy and better facilitate service delivery and patron consultations.

The renovation transformed the aging three-story library into an active and inspiring 21C academic research library that demonstrates the university’s commitment to students’ academic success. In addition to PGAV’s understanding of best practices for 21C academic library design, PGAV’s valuable understanding of Fort Hays State’s campus culture, context, and campus utility infrastructure played an important role in the development of an appropriate solution.
