PGAV provided design services for an addition to the Kansas Geological Survey Drill Core Library on KU’s West Campus. The facility is the repository for over 68,000 boxes of core and rock samples, representing more than 5,500 drill holes, primarily from Kansas, but with a few representative samples from surrounding states.

The addition is west of the existing facility and includes a 1,500 SF lab and scanning room, office space, an additional restroom, and high-bay storage. Site improvements include an on-grade loading and unloading area and access to the complex that includes Parker, Moore, and Hambleton halls.
