Docking State Office Building Celebrates Ribbon Cutting

The State of Kansas celebrated the ribbon cutting of the Docking State Office Building on October 30, 2025. PGAV Architects served on the design-build team to reconstruct the three-story building prominently located adjacent to the State Capitol in Topeka.

The project honors the building’s architectural legacy by preserving key historic features and thoughtfully reusing existing materials, while introducing modern functionality and amenities. This project reflects a forward-thinking approach to civic design, and PGAV is proud to contribute to a revitalized landmark for the State of Kansas.
