KU Geological Core Library Addition Celebrates Ribbon Cutting
University of Kansas celebrated the ribbon cutting of the Geological Core Library Storage Building addition on November 6, 2025. PGAV Architects provided design services for the 5,500 GSF expansion to the Kansas Geological Survey Drill Core Library, located on KU’s West Campus.
The facility serves as a repository for over 68,000 boxes of core and rock samples representing over 5,500 drill holes—primarily from across Kansas. This project supports critical research and resource management efforts, and PGAV is proud to contribute to its continued advancement.
